summer na!

it is done… yes! my students’ grades are finished — it’s been computed and submitted and released. so now, i can actually start my summer break. and what better way to reward myself for a mentally exhausting, physically draining school year than a trip to the beach or a night-out with a special friend (uyy, intriga!hehee..) i hope i can work out my schedule so that i can go out with friends to zambales and to the beach (ive been itching to go to the beach since january when i passed by several beaches and resorts in zambales and olongapo on a trip). oh yes, i cant wait to explore the blue-green waters and swim, and swim, and swim. and going to zambales would be a nice change in scenery. ive been deprived from joining the puerto galera outing last summer, so i dont want to miss out on this one.

of course, there’s also the option of going out with a friend. we’ve been trying to fit this in our busy schedules, and its only now that we’re both finally available. its been a year since we last saw each other, so yes, i also can’t wait to see him again.

i so desperately need this break. i need to recoup, to get back my strength, my enthusiasm for things. ive been working non-stop since i graduated from college two years ago. ill be burned-out a year from now if i dont stop and take a break, or at least, treat myself to something gratifying and physically and  emotionally relaxing.

im looking forward to the next school year though, but that is another story, and thus, would have to wait. happy summer!
